These run the gamut from physical to mental, whether it’s Homelander’s flight and heat vision, Victoria Neuman’s head-popping, Mindstorm’s incredible psychic abilities, or Soldier Boy being able to disempower other Supes. And while Homelander is considered the most powerful Supe in The Boys, a case is being built for another character instead. Recent events lend more weight to that idea, with one of the most astonishing displays of power so far. Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Gen V Season 2, Episode 5.
Marie’s Powers Are A Game-Changer for The Boys

Marie Moreau has long been tipped as a Supe who could be as powerful as Homelander, and perhaps even stronger. The best evidence of that previously was her surviving a laser blast to the chest from the man himself, which even he was shocked by. But Gen V Season 2 is further positioning Marie as the “chosen one” who could take down The Boys villain. It’s revealed she was a product of something called the Odessa Project, and hinted that her power origin is the same as Homelander’s. And now, her powers have levelled up again.
In Gen V Season 2, Episode 5, Marie, Emma Meyer, Jordan Li, and Cate Dunlap are attempting to escape the Elmira prison, but first have to rescue Marie’s sister, Annabeth. The catch? She’s found dead in her cell, lying in a pool of her own blood after having her throat cut. Marie had been told by Cipher that her powers could perform miracles, and that’s exactly what she then delivers: she’s able to manipulate the blood back into her sister’s body, close the wound, and bring her back to life. We’ve seen a lot of great powers in The Boys universe, and even things like Kimiko’s self-healing abilities, but true resurrection of another person is a total game-changer.
