On September 8th, Netflix debuted its new preschool show, Dr. Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish, as part of the streamer’s September 2025 lineup. The animated series is based on the author’s 1960 book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, one of Seuss’ best-selling stories, and the adventures of an odd couple of two fish friends as they explore an undersea world and introduce opposite concepts. The voice cast includes Brian Drummond (Red), Andrea Libman (Blue), and Naomi Tan (narrator). All five episodes of the series are now streaming on Netflix.

Netflix is diving into the wonderful, fantastical world of Dr. Seuss this fall, and Red Fish, Blue Fish is just the start. From September through October, the streamer is releasing two new shows and a special based on the beloved author’s characters and works as part of Netflix’s upcoming “World of Dr. Seuss.” The titles will join another existing Dr. Seuss title already available in Netflix’s streaming library, Green Eggs and Ham, a two-season animated comedy adventure based on the 1960 book of the same name.
