What Homelander doesn’t realize is that there’s more than one way to take down a Supe. While his strength is incomparable, he’s as fragile as can be mentally, which could open the door for all sorts of problems if he crosses paths with the wrong person. Here are four The Boys characters that are actually stronger than Homelander.
4) Cindy
The titular team meets all kinds of colorful characters when they visit the Sage Grove Center, including one who gives Mother’s Milk a hard time. The person who makes the biggest impact, though, is Cindy, whom even Lamplighter is afraid of. Her telekinesis allows her to move objects with her mind, but it’s her control of her powers that makes her formidable. Lifting boats and taking bullets to the back with ease proves that Cindy could go toe-to-toe with anyone, even the man she’s currently working for.
3) Mindstorm
Payback is the original Supe team, operating in the 1980s and working alongside the CIA. Unfortunately, not everyone in the group is a great person, as some members decide to turn their leader, Soldier Boy, over to the Russians. Mindstorm’s ability to trap minds in dreams allows him to get the better of Soldier Boy, and he pays the price for it later on. However, at his peak, Mindstorm is clearly a match for Homelander because, with the skeletons in Vought’s top dog’s closet, he wouldn’t last one second reliving his worst nightmares.
