The director described himself as “curious” about “what people think”. Barbara Muschietti explained that while she “love[s] our people… but in the end, the one thing that we get to do is pick our cast”. While the pair’s responses are non-commital, they highlight that the creatives behind the movie are well aware of which actors fans are most eager to see in the crucial role.
