The full lineup of films in the Luc Besson 9-Movie Blu-ray Collection includes: Le Dernier Combat (1983), Subway (1985), The Big Blue (1988), La Femme Nikita (1990), Atlantis (1991), Léon: The Professional (1994), The Fifth Element (1997), The Messenger: The Story Of Joan Of Arc (1999), and Angel-A (2005). Below you’ll find a breakdown of the 4K Blu-ray status of each film in the set. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a head-scratcher as to why they would release this set without all of the films being upgraded to 4K.

• Léon: The Professional: Previously released on 4K Blu-ray (Includes 109-minute and 133-minute versions in 4K with Dolby Vision)
• The Fifth Element: Previously released on 4K Blu-ray (4K with Dolby Vision)
• La Femme Nikita: Previously released on 4K Blu-ray (4K with Dolby Vision)
• Subway: New to 4K Blu-ray in this collection (4K with Dolby Vision)
• The Big Blue: New to 4K Blu-ray in this collection (Includes 132-minute and 168-minute versions in 4K with Dolby Vision)
• The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc: New to 4K Blu-ray in this collection (Includes 148-minute and 158-minute versions in 4K with Dolby Vision)
• Le Dernier Combat: Blu-ray only in this collection
• Atlantis: Blu-ray only in this collection
• Angel-A: Blu-ray only in this collection

Note that there are a ton special features for each film in this set that include behind-the-scenes footage, cast and director interviews, and more. These special features appear to be legacy that have been made available in past releases.

Luc Besson 9-Movie Blu-ray Collection Pre-Orders

As noted, the Luc Besson collection will arrive on November 11th, 2025 but pre-orders and details on pricing were not available at the time of writing. That could change at any moment.
