Fallout TV Series Casts Twin Peaks Star Kyle MacLachlan and More

Videos by ComicBook.com

As reported by Deadline, Fallout has added Twin Peaks star Kyle MacLachlan, Father Stu actor Aaron Moten, and a newer actor by the name of Xelia Mendes-Jones who will star in the second season of Wheel of Time and 2022’s Havoc with Tom Hardy and Timothy Olyphant. As of right now, no details have been revealed regarding their roles, but they will be series regulars and join the likes of Walton Goggins (who is rumored to be playing a ghoul) and Yellowjackets star Ella Purnell. The series has no release date at the moment, but with casting gaining such momentum, it’s likely we’ll learn more sooner rather than later. Deadline also confirmed the show is set to begin shooting later this year.

The Fallout TV series is being developed by Westworld co-creator and The Dark Knight trilogy co-writer Jonathan Nolan with his partner Lisa Joy who also worked on Westworld. Nolan will direct the first episode, but it’s unclear how involved he will be beyond that as Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner have been tapped to serve as co-showrunners. Whatever the case may be, the Fallout TV series has a huge amount of talent in its arsenal. Bethesda also recently confirmed Fallout 5 is on the way, but it won’t release for quite some time.
