Videos by ComicBook.com

In a blog post, EA emphasized they were open to feedback on the update changes and wanted to give players more ways to play.

โ€œWe are back with another Title Update that will contain changes to how you play, fixes to issues across the game, new mascots, uniforms, and more,โ€ said the blog. โ€œWe have more changes coming in future updates. Please continue to provide us feedback, we are always listening!โ€

Among the major adjustments to gameplay were improvements to defender logic that enhanced effectiveness against various formations, as well as individual tweaks to coverage options that made it harder for the offense to score easy touchdowns in certain situations. These logic improvements also extend to blocking, allowing blockers to make more intelligent decisions on the field, such as avoiding unnecessary double teams.

Dynasty mode also received several minor tweaks, including raising the cap on speed and acceleration for safety recruits and an update to skill groups to ensure archetypes have better access to critical abilities. Modes like Road to Glory and Ultimate Team received a substantial number of tweaks and fixes in this update as well.
