7) Hollow Knight: Silksong

Silksong is one of the most anticipated games of 2025. Fans have been begging for this game for years, and Team Cherry finally delivered. Thankfully, critics and players agree that the developer has knocked this one out of the park. Sure, it can be difficult at times, but overcoming that challenge feels incredible. It is a perfect game for Steam Deck players and one that shouldn’t be missed.
6) NBA 2K26

- Release Date: September 5th, 2025
NBA 2K26 is one of the few AAA sports games that is Steam Deck verified. Madden and EA Sports FC aren’t supported on the device, and College Football and The Show aren’t available on Steam. That’s slim pickings for sports fans, but there’s at least something for the Deck.
5) Dying Light: The Beast

- Release Date: September 18th, 2025
Techland’s latest Dying Light puts you back into the shoes of Kyle Crane from the original game. Now, Crane is dealing with years of “brutal experiments” that have turned him into a half-human/half-beast hybrid. You can also jump into co-op with up to three friends, giving you a bit of help in the darkness.
4) Megabonk

- Release Date: September 18th, 2025
Megabonk takes the Vampire Survivors‘ formula and puts it into a 3D world. That extra dimension ramps things up, letting you jump around the world and use the terrain to dodge enemy attacks. Like Vampire Survivors, it’s a great game on the go because it’s built for small sessions that leave you saying “just one more” until it’s three in the morning.
