Here are eight villains we’d like to see in Ultimate Spider-Man. And even if the story really is completely done in December, we can all agree on one thing: it’s all somehow Paul Rabin’s fault.
1) Vulture

Appearing as early as Amazing Spider-Man #2, Vulture has a long history with the Web-head. A master of flight technology and always on the verge of death, I’m shocked we haven’t seen him appear yet. Not sure what they would do with him exactly but knowing how Ultimate Spider-Man has been making changes to iconic characters, it probably won’t be Adrain Toomes.
To really throw off, the Ultimate Spider-Man version could be the Raniero Drago Vulture just to give us something different. With how much they’ve changed in the title this would be no different. Either way, we’d love to see how Checchetto would draw Vulture in his style,;he’d look glorious.
2) Electro

With no favors done by The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Electro has long been one of Spidey’s best enemies. With the ability to electrocute and manipulate electricity and lighting, Electro would be fun to see here. He’s another I’m surprised we haven’t seen quite yet in the title.
If Peter still had his nanotech suit, having Electro mess with it would have made for an interesting fight and would have gotten the lightweight one that way too. Not a missed opportunity, but a fun “what if” if you will. All we know for sure is that we would love to see him as part of Ultimate Spider-Man, whether he’s blue or not (and hopefully not Red Skull’s son.)
3) Chameleon

With Kraven already in the book, we’re holding out hope for Chameleon to appear as well. This iteration probably would end up as a shapeshifter, but it wouldn’t be the worst thing. The idea of a copycat running around in a Spider-Man book is an essential story for the hero and it would be great for it to happen here. Unless people end up thinking Richard is Peter, that is.
With the status of his brother up for debate, we could always see Chameleon later on as well. Another fun take would be to give him some of Kraven’s skills, too. There are a lot of fun options with an Ultimate Spider-Man take on this villain for sure.
4) Rhino

Another victim of a bad movie adaptation, Rhino busts into our list Kool-Aid man style. He had a great redesign in the original Ultimate Spider-Man as well as some mutant hybrid types. While I’d imagine he’s probably be some sort of creature, I just wanna see the guy give this Peter some trouble this time around.
Rhino has long been one of the goofiest villains of Spider-Man that just works for whatever reason that may be. Busting through about anything, a new take on the character could really make things interesting.
