Batman villains have aura in a way that many villains could only dream about. They have the best costumes, great personalities, and are massively threatening, all of which add up to make them some of the coolest villains ever. These ten Batman villains have the most aura, villains who are as awesome as they are dangerous.
10. Mister Freeze

Mister Freeze became popular because of Batman: The Animated Series, and joined the ranks of Batman’s best villains. Mister Freeze is a (excuse the pun) cool villain. His armor and bluish-white skin give him an amazing look, and his obsession with his wife, Nora, and saving her make him one of the most compelling villains out there. Mister Freeze has basically everything you could want from a villain, his tragic backstory and awesome look giving him amazing aura. It’s honestly been a good couple of years for Mister Freeze fans, as the character has changed in numerous ways, changing in ways that make him more intriguing. The new Absolute Mister Freeze is also an awesome villain, taking the sci-fi trappings of the original Freeze and subbing in horror.
9. Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy is going through a renaissance right now, but she’s always been an awesome villain. Poison Ivy has always had aura. She was the perfect femme fatale villain, a beautiful woman who could manipulate anyone into doing whatever she wanted. Poison Ivy’s connection to the Green and her love of plants make her unique among Batman’s villains; in a lot of ways, she’s actually an altruist. She wants to protect the environment, and if she has to kill a lot of people to do it, she will. Plus, Poison Ivy is always ready with a biting remark and is full of great puns, and that’s before we get to the undeniable sex appeal of the character. She’s a remarkably cool character, and that’s helped her aura stay at godlike levels.
8. Killer Croc

Killer Croc has always been the monster of the Batman villains. He’s a mountain of scales, claws, and muscle, and you know that when Killer Croc shows up, things are about to get dangerous. Killer Croc’s bestial nature has made him one of the most formidable bad guys in Gotham City. He’s not a smart villain, but he’s going to tear apart everything in front of him, and it’s not going to be a good time for anyone fighting him. Croc also changes, which is part of what makes him so interesting. Sometimes, he’s a more human enemy, sometimes he’s more of an animal. Sometimes, he’s an enemy and sometimes he’s a friend. However, there’s just something about Killer Croc, and it’s why he’s been such a popular villain over the years.
7. Scarecrow

Scarecrow has always been one of the aura-rich villains out there. It all starts with his look. Scarecrow is the master of fear, and his entire vibe has been tailored in that direction. Sometimes, he looks like an undead revenant that just walked out of a cornfield. Other times, he looks like a technological terror with syringes for fingers. Scarecrow understands how to use his looks to create terror, and that’s before we get to the hallucinogenic fear gas or the sinister plans that usually involve trying to make a whole city homicidally afraid of each other. His entire career is all about fear and cultivating an aura of menace, one that does half of the job for him.
6. Talia al Ghul

The al Ghul family is all about aura, and Talia follows in those footsteps wonderfully. Talia al Ghul is one of the most dangerous women in the world, and you can tell every time she walks into a room. She has that edge to her; you know that anything she tells you she can do, she can do. She’s smarter than you, she’s a better fighter than you, and she’s already figured out the entire situation and is multiple steps ahead of everyone. That’s Talia al Ghul in a nutshell, and that’s what she brings to the table every time she shows up. Talia is danger incarnated, a beautiful and deadly woman that you underestimate at your peril.
