is reporting that Legendary Pictures and Atlas Entertainment have begun the casting process on their forthcoming Warcraft film adaptation from director Duncan Jones.Reportedly, 2 Guns leading lady Paula Patton is negotiating for a lead role and another lead has already been offered to Daredevil villain Colin Farrell. There are other actors being tested for the part, since apparently it’s not a foregone conclusion that Farrell will say yes.Production on Warcraft will begin in January based on a script by The Express and Seventh Son scribe Charles Leavitt.The project was set up a couple of years ago at Warner Bros., but given the breakup between Legendary (who hold the rights) and Warners, it’s likely the project will come to life at Universal.
