Rumiko Takahashi’s classic Ranma 1/2 manga made its grand return to TV screens last year with a brand new revival anime series adapting the manga from the very beginning for a new generation, and a second season is now on the way. Hitting this October, Netflix has finally locked down its release date with a brand new trailer and poster to help celebrate the upcoming premiere of Ranma 1/2 Season 2. Teasing new characters and all sorts of wacky shenanigans coming our way, you can check out the new look at Ranma 1/2 Season 2 below.
Ranma 1/2 Season 2 Sets October Release Date With Netflix
Ranma 1/2 Season 2 will be officially making its debut with Netflix on October 4th, and will be streaming its episodes worldwide. This premiere date also matches up with its premiere in Japan, so that means each of the episodes will likely be airing on a weekly basis much like the first season (rather than being held back for a few weeks or longer as seen with some of the recent seasonal anime releases). That was one of the bigger worries fans had ahead of this new season’s release, but thankfully it doesn’t look like that’s the case. The staff and cast from the first season of Ranma 1/2′s revival anime series will be returning with Konosuke Uda directing the new season for MAPPA once more, Kimiko Ueno overseeing the scripts, and Hiromi Tanaguchi handling the character designs.
